Dana Clevering

Therapist and Clinical Director

Dana Clevering is a Clinical Director and a therapist with Farrington Specialty Centers. Dana has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas State University and a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in marriage and family therapy from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas.  She received her Professional Counselor License in 2002 and her Mental Health Counselor License in 2012. Dana also became an EMDR certified therapist in 2020. 

She has been providing therapy services for the past 23 years. She has specialized in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families struggling with eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and loss.  Dana has worked in private practice, inpatient mental health facilities, and educational environments. Dana is a member of the American Counseling Association, The Eating Disorder Task Force of Indiana, and EMDRIA. 

Dana strives to meet her clients where they are at in their lives. She looks at the process of how emotions and individual core beliefs are associated with why they have sought out therapy. The client and therapist relationship are of utmost importance based on trust, compassion, respect, and authenticity. Dana will maintain positive communication and a collaborative process to help clients reach their full potential and healing.
